Shelley Kemp & Called To Hope with be joining the Light at the Lighthouse Worship Stage on Saturday, August 25th!

SHELLEY KEMP, Lead Singer/Songwriter, Guitar Shelley is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. As she moved from East to West, she hoped to start a music career in Los Angeles. But, after attending a performance of “Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames,” at Hope Chapel Hermosa, when her entire family came to the Lord, Shelley put her family as a top priority -- and her music career on hold -- to homeschool their daughters and serve on the Hope Chapel worship team. In 2014, the discovery of cancer led to the surgical removal of her thyroid, which initially caused her to lose the ability to sing. During that time, God began to give her songs of worship. Her band Called To Hope, which was formed in 2016, started as an answer to God’s call to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and is presently recording their first album. GLENDA MAGBY, Backup Vocals Glenda is a gifted worship leader in her own right. In addition to Hope Chapel, she is a worship leader at several churches in the South Bay and has led worship at many Christian venues in Southern California. ANDY ANDERS, Bass Guitar, Vocals Andy is a world performer on various bands, most notably the Grammy-nominated "Lisa Haley & The Zydecats." Andy serves as shepherd for Hope Chapel’s Art, Music & Drama Ministry. MARK HALEY, Drums Born and raised in El Segundo, California, Mark has served as a drummer for Hope Chapel Hermosa for over two decades and most recently co-producing the James Kob jazz album entitled "So Right." TERRY Williams, Music Director, Keyboard, Saxophone Born in Arkansas, Terry was raised in the Baptist and Methodist traditions. His mother, who was a school and church choir director, introduced him to music at an early age, and he went on to study music at Louisiana Tech University. Terry has played, written, and arranged for a number of artists and groups in a number of styles, and has served on the Hope Chapel worship team since 2003.
