SEAPC (South East Asia Prayer Center) is a missionary organization started by Pastor Mark Geppert in 1994.
I first met Mark in 2003 when he gave a weekend conference at Community Christian Church on Prayer Walking. We prayer-walked from CCC down to Pt. Fermin Park and prayed a blessing at the Park, in anticipation of the Christian music festival we were planning to start, and which has continued to bless the South Bay for the ensuing 22 years.
Pastor Geppert has been a guest speaker several times and remains on the Light at the Lighthouse Festival Board of Directors.

This week, we celebrate what God is doing in the nation of Thailand—a stream rising above the ways of man to step fully into its call in Christ.
“There is a revival in Thailand—started by locals, led by locals, and stewarded by locals.”
Early reports indicate that approximately 123,000 people have responded in prayer to follow a life led by Jesus, and 33,000 have been baptized in central Thailand. Learn more at www.aft-thailand.org
This testimony comes from our dear friend and longtime partner Andrew Ng, who has humbly served as a faithful leader for Christ across Southeast Asia for many years.

The Movement in Action

In this house, we believe it is far greater to be a small part of a big thing than a big part of a small thing—and God is doing a very big thing in Thailand.

Our prayer is that the many streams of the Body of Christ in Thailand would come together—flowing like a single river—forming a movement marked by righteousness, peace, and joy in Jesus.

For over 30 years, SEAPC has had the privilege of hosting and serving thousands of prayer initiatives across Thailand, believing that one day a strong, local Church would emerge to transform the nation.

Today, that long-held vision is becoming reality
A Personal Reflection

The first organized prayer movement I remember SEAPC supporting in Thailand dates back to the late 1990s. Led by missionaries Dan and Debbie Ecker, it was called Operation Kingdom Come—a nationwide effort to gather local believers and global missions partners to pray in every provincial capital.

For years, missionaries and Thai believers trusted that these prayers—joined with countless others—would one day ignite a movement. Faithful servants like Hubert Chan, Jeff and Tammy Yuen, and many more gave their lives to this calling, raising disciples and sowing seeds of prayer.

SEAPC’s International Missions Director and dear friend, Pastor John Paul, was another who heard God’s call and moved his family to Thailand to labor faithfully in prayer. Those missionaries were embraced by true friends—leaders like Dr. Hongsunee, Joanna Samuels, Praphan, and a growing community of hungry local church families.

Earlier this month, Pastor John Paul shared with us stories of multitudes gathering to walk and pray across the nation.

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God.”

The Church in Thailand has recognized its time of harvest—sustained from within, and now sending workers into the call of Christ.

More on Prayer #37
Pastor Mark Geppert
SEAPC Founder
LATL Board of Directors

You’re in. That’s right, you are in the “In Crowd.” You have been accepted by the King of Kings to sit at His right hand and “ask” Him those things which you desire. He, Jesus, has called you to the “In Crowd” and you responded. You accepted His invitation and stuck with Him through times of testing, and proved that you were serious.
It began with little things: prayer requests that were personal: patience, joy, peace, understanding and more love. Gradually, the prayers included the needs of others: salvation, healing, provision and protection. You began to ask the Lord for understanding in the distance between His blessing and others inability to receive. Why would they refuse to open their hearts and minds to such an obvious blessing? Why would they continue in behaviors that would eventually destroy them spiritually, mentally, and physically? Why were their hearts unable to forgive the slightest offense?
You began to seek the Lord and wait for His answer before praying. No longer did you consume your time with worry and anxiety; but, instead, began to fill your thoughts with praise and worship. Rehearsing His goodness and faithfulness drove doubt from your mind and you began to rise up in faith, believing that He is for you and that your voice is heard in heaven.
You began to ask in faith, not doubting His promise. Your eyes were opened to see His will in His way, in His time and realized that the battles are not yours, but His.
You are in the “In Crowd.”
From your assigned position at the right hand of the Father, you are free to ask anything in Jesus’ name and the Father will supply what you need. The “ask” can be in any of the three realms of His great power. In the physical, He still multiplies whatever you give to Him to be able to feed millions. He still heals the sick. He still gives eyesight to the blind and causes the lame to walk. You can ask for any material thing you need to cause others to believe and your Father will supply.
In the soulish realm: will, intellect, and emotions, you can ask Him to heal and to deliver, to give peace and understanding. You can pray and cause love to overcome fear, faith to overcome doubt in the lives of those around you. You can do this because you are in the “In Crowd.” You have access to the Father. While so many around you struggle to find answers, you have direct access to all knowledge and wisdom. You can speak to mountains and see them removed. You can announce to powers and principalities the manifold wisdom of God and they will bow down at the mention of His name.
In the spiritual realm you are God’s “In Crowd” instrument for righteousness. You are a World Changer. You are that person in the office, home, school; or, on that team, or living in that community who contains the river of life that will bring life to all with whom you come in contact. This ability is freely given to all who are in the “In Crowd.”
Jesus caused you to be raised up with Him, and to sit with the “In Crowd” in the heavenly places in Him. (Eph 2:6) In Him we live and move and have our being.(Acts 17:28) He is for us, He is with us, He is in us.

Be Encouraged,
Mark
